1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using vroomiapp.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
3. What Vroomi is (and isn't)
Vroomi is a platform that connects vehicle buyers with car salespeople. We are not a party to any sale. We do not own the vehicles listed, do not verify the accuracy of listings, and do not handle payments for vehicles. Any transaction is solely between the buyer and the salesperson/dealership.
4. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You are responsible for all activity on your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
- Scrape, copy, or resell data from the Service.
- Upload viruses, malware, or attempt to breach security.
- Impersonate another person or dealership.
- Spam or send unsolicited commercial messages.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. User content
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, listings, reviews, messages). By uploading, you grant Vroomi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, host, and use that content to operate the Service.
You are solely responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it.
7. Salesperson responsibilities
If you list vehicles or financing rates, you must:
- Have legal authority to sell the vehicles you list.
- Provide accurate price, condition, mileage, and APR information.
- Comply with all applicable state and federal motor vehicle and consumer protection laws.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any vehicle, price, or salesperson is accurately represented.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vroomi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or any transaction between users. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vroomi from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada for the resolution of any disputes. If you access the Service from outside Canada, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
